I am a freelance writer and editor living in Victoria, BC, Canada. In 2005, I began Float Solutions in collaboration with Aidan McQuay, a web programmer and designer. Float Solutions is in the business of revolutionizing the way we live on the internet through cool, dynamic, accessible web design and web content.

In terms of other projects, I am in the process of publishing my first novel. Part history, part philosophical treatise, part action-packed sci-fi thriller, part gothic romance; this story has something for anyone fascinated by the myriad changing faces of mortality and morality. Look for more details in 2006.

My hobbies include yoga, hiking and backpacking, and songwriting. When I’m not working on a writing project, I’ll head downtown with my guitar and pick up a few bucks busking. I also like to keep up-to-date on the newest developments in the writing industry, from who’s doing what in publishing to the latest techniques in professional style and editing. I think it’s important for writers to be able to write traditionally, but also that they know what is on the cutting edge of contemporary concepts as to what language is capable of and can be made to do. I try to make my writing a hybrid of these forces and trends.
